SoCal car meets

Hey guys I was hoping if anyone in SoCal does car meets with people that don't drift around the parking lot and burn out in front of a target?
I'm also looking for casual advice on certain things.
New to the S-chassis game and the first meet I went to was an awful experience which also ended up in my car not starting.
Fast forward a month and I'm doing an RB20 swap soon and hoping to get some nice tips from good people.
