ebay motors

jst curious has anybody bought motors on ebay? i see tons and tons of engines and the prices are so tempting but i know better - you pay for what u get - anyway i was wondering if anyone had any luck getting a good motor from ebay

most of them have cut harness, missing parts and are on ebay for a reason.
but if you need a spare block or head or tranny to have around "just in case" its not that bad of a deal

incorrect. some motors on ebay are excellent. those going through Automotive Advantage are extremly nice. thats a company where you can actually drive up to them and look at the motors sitting in the warehouse. a member of NICO did exactly that, picked out his motor. He also made note that all of the motors were very clean. Just do your research before you buy a 800 dollar motor.
