Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here. I just bought a '93 240SX SE Coupe, and I noticed that there was a thin crack on the top of the radiator (which I believe is made of cast plastic).... I am wondering if there is anything I can use to seal the crack?....
One of my belts is slipping and making a screeching noise, which I think is mostly due to them being wet from the coolant leak....
I hope someone can help me....

try JB weld... autoparts places, wal-mart with all the auto fluids and fuel additives etc.

JB Weld huh?.... Will that work on the plastic?....
You have the exact same radiator (unless you have upgraded), so do you think it would work on the top hard plastic part of the radiator? (sorry about my terminology ignorance)....

Thanks guys.... I couldn't find any JB Weld, but I did get some stuff that works with metal and plastic.... I put half of it in, and let the car run for a while.... I'm going to put the other half in, in about an hour... I'll let you know if it worked or not....
Bottom line is, I need a new radiator..... Hopefully I will get one soon, and install it.... Has anyone installed a radiator on a 91-93 240sx SE (S13)?.... Is there anything I should know before tackling the install?... Anything that might be a problem, or troublesome? (AC, hoses, etc...)
Thanks again....

JB weld works on metal too. I met someone today who's had jb weld on their radiator for about 2 years.

I've seen a JB Weld patch on a fist-sized hole in an automatic transmission.
Scary.

Wait... Put it in... inside the radiator?
Please tell me you meant you put it on the radiator, like on the crack...
