Why does the suspension hop? HELP!!!!!

I was wondering why that when you get the rear loose, the rear suspension starts to hop? What can be done to correct this? new stiffer shocks/springs?

Is this common with all s13's?

shocks are blown... get new ones and get some subframe spacers. no more hopping for you... just alot of differential noise :)
