Any body know where the other end of this turbo line goes it wraps behind the motor

I don't where it ends up after it wraps around the motor I just got steel braided line and want to swap the hard lines out 7938179382 I wrap tape around it so you can see it any body have there motor out that can take a pic

Thats a water line to cool the turbo? I had to change it months ago after it decide to break.. Very pqinful to replace. Connects to a hardline under the intake manifold.

Would you have a pic of it it's a tight fit I still have my ac hook up too so it's really tight did you have ac lines in your way

My car is rhd, so my ac lines wasn't a problem.. Disconnect the trans mount and jack the trans up to clear space between the head and firewall

Yep I hate that line. To make life easier get the steel braided lines when you replace it.

That's all i am trying to do is swap the lines to those with a t28 s15 turbo thanks I'll check it out when I get home

I suggest cut it under the head an swap to s14 waterneck an lines...no issues anymore! I had the steel behind the head still leak on mine...

I did the exact same thing about a year ago when swapping to s15 turbo. Its already been said, but yeah, there is a hard line that it meets halfway between the hot and cold sides behind the head. I ended up just plugging that hardline and ran a new line off the water neck for future ease. Good luck

Or... You could just snag up a S14 water neck and run a SS braided line to that!
Delete the line in the rear of head.

Either way - just make sure it's a reliable connection. Don't use a vacuum cap, it won't last.

I caped it on intake side. But you can certainly cap it on the rubber line behind the head, I would say you can use a thick bolt and clamp and done.
Either way works fine.

Get your self the S14 coolant water neck! Your going to love it!

BTW - the cheaper way to go is to just drill and tap the S13 water neck and put a 1/8" NPT to whatever fitting you're using on the water lines (I've usually used -4, small and plenty of flow).

Takes a few minutes, and the fitting costs a few bucks. An S14 waterneck is kinda pricey.

I cut mine below the intake where it starts to turn toward the engine an used a different water hose...a google search should yield the part number for it

Might be pricey, but (for me) it was nice because it aloud me to put a water temp. sensor right there as well. *Hint hint..*

If you're using the existing M14x1.5 mm port for a temp sensor, then you need to do something to add the coolant return to it.

So why not just mod what you've got?

I am in agreement with your last statement.
I utilized the existing port for my coolant return and then drilled and tapped the square pad on top for the sensor.
