Anyone know if 350z brakes will fit onto an S14? I've found a set of the brembo's off the track edition and was wondering what was needed to install them...just bolt on or 350z spindles or what? I've heard these are the same as R34 GTR brakes but I wanted to double check..

thanks in advance.

iwas at a nissan daelership this morning doing mesurements , aparently everything is straight foward, bolts the same , this is the 4 pot gold aluminum brembos , what we did not find in stock @ nissan were the rotors ,thats why i'm saying aparently, of corse the wheel offset will be a problem .... monday they will get the rotors soposedly and i'm taking my wheels off and trying.. the pair of ONLY calibers cost 550.00 + tax here in florida , pm me and i'll give the guy that sells them , I dont have rotors price hopfully by monday i'll have more info .....one thing to have in mind calipers are great looking but if you don't have the master cylinder and A.B.S. inyour car , driving in rain can be DANGEROUS... the brakes do lock up and you will slide into the car in front of you , ...i cant post pics but i will have some sometime next week..

can't you use a master cylinder from a z32?

the master cylinder will only relieve the travel slop of the pedal, the clamping force of the calipers is graeter when you use z32 or z33 brakes , on track if you like a mushy pedal this is great for long fast tracks because you can brake alot later than any one else , hit the brakes , nose dives in , with good tires just point the nose and your tail will slide happy, depending what suspencion setup you have , on street ,I have z32 30mm front calipers and had to install A.B.S. and master cylinder to releive slop and cut down on wheel lockup in the rain...

umm, in my opinion, brakes do not make the car lock up, low traction tires and a firm right (or left) foot will. on my s14, I have 30mm calipers, and have never locked up the tires, i've only been running R rated tires (dunlop W10, kumho ecsta, yokohama es100). of course it depends on the situation, all tires have their limits, it's just a matter of knowing what the limits of the brakes/tires combo are to prevent locking up. but i don't think it's worth it to install the whole ABS system to reduce wheel lockup, that must have been a biatch! and I've never felt any slop in my pedal, must be because i have the auto M/C (car is now manual). $550 for 2 front calipers is not bad! but +tax? i thought florida didn't have any tax?

6% plus locals +.5-1% for random crap. Here it's 6.5% and the .5 goes to building schools. Tourists get raped by hotel taxes.

Who needs ABS for rain driving, besides pussies and 10 year old girls?
