Im looking here and i notice the Front is R33 , the car is S14 obviously: Anyways the question is does anyone know anymore info on this as i would like to do the same. Those are OEM r33 headlights but are they oem fenders made to fit?: oem bumper made to fit ? oem grill? or is it just the headlights molded in and the bumper adn grill are from an aftermarket company that fits teh s14? anymore pics would be appreciated too or a way to contact the owner.

(My 240 plans are for a 95 - RB20DET motor with the R33 front end like this one maybe a R33 taillight conversion as well ? - homemade R32/3 )

If you seriously have the money to do that kind of bodywork.....I really think you should reconsider and get some Euro spec glass headlights and a nice kit. I can get those headlights for you....for a HIGH fee. :)


BTW...I think the person could have welded some R33 fender with the S14 fenders. Unless there is a conversion kit out there for the S14.

some of you may have misread: The car will be outfitted FIRST with an RB swap, and then a full suspension build as im more performance oriented HOWEVER cosmetically since the lines are almost identical i was toying with the idea of a front end conversion : ( when you buy aclip the front end is usually there same as a RHD dash ) cosmetically its nothing important just an idea i could really care less i just wanted to see how this guy did it. But i see many of you are still on the anti new guy who you think came from the honduh crowed and wants a show car mindset. I myslef from from the Impreza World and have built my car fo rAutoX but its time for a new project and im really considering an RB powered S14

Not alot of people on this board are into conversion....once you mentioned the possible taillight conversion...you sealed the fate of getting flamed on. I also don't think the owner of that car is on this board. He's in my state...but a long drive away.

alright dude, most likly those r custom fendars as for im sure the r33 is wider than the s14. and since u are a n00b, body kits/conversion questions r a serious no no for u...otherwise...we reap flamage on u.....its the zilvian way

and personally,i think the 33 front is the ish, but not on a s14...try j30 headlights or r32s.....j30 + hid kit = :bowdown:

actually most of the time they're all bashed up from the trip over, or from sitting in the junkyards over there or what have you. I have no idea how he did the conversion. I know that he wanted 10k for it and it's an auto. :down:

Anyways, do all the rest of that stuff and then maybe by that time someone else would have done it. BTW, got pics of the Imprezza? :naughtyd:

Yeh I kinda figured i would get some flame from the anti-conversion group its expected on any board where you have low post. but i dont post mainly cause i yet to pick up my 240sx since ive put every portion of my 240sx money into my impreza but now that im gearing that more towards track and autoX ill need a new project for projects sake. Im far from a zilvia newbie or to the world of nissan i just lack the post ive been cruising the board for sometime now actually long before the converison on the board was done. but flames understood and taken. I personally like the lines of the R33 front and the headlights are not that far off from teh 95-96 however i dont care for the cloudy headlights that came on them thus i was looking to upgrade the lights and i thought the R33 would be the best and easiest route since they are ALMOST identical. but i totally forgot about the J30s so ill look into them.

Anyways for those interested inthe impreza:

1994 1.8 FWD :

2.5l FWD now goin to be 2.5T depending on how the 240 hunt goes.
Its got the usual autoX stuff, Bigger brakes up front, Sway bars, Endlinks,struts, Springs, Exhaust, Clutch, Motor Mounts. the body has been converted to look more JDM and more upto date (01specs) with UK grill and UK lip i had brought in. im in the middle of the AWD conversion on it so hopefully that will be done this winter as i need to locate a good tranny still.

Yess! someone like you....all of us subaru owners love our rally scoops dont we :aw: gotta have those scoops but explain to me why it is we dont have AC im a bit lost on that one?

Cant forget about those honda boys either them and their LS Vtecs those crazy kids. Oh wait most of those honda B16 LSVtec people are buying up the 240sx/S13/180sx style car and dropping SRs into them now. Im starting to see a new fad in the way of SR powered drifters that used to own LSVtecs. but then again They are also buying up the WRX and STIs just as fast and ruining them too. :duh: I was just back to look for some answer on that front end cause i would like newer headlights in the front something with clear glass that would be nice with HIDs. W/E no biggie lets just drop the issue cause i know how some of these threads will go on and on and on about why dont you put Nawz in that or LAmbo doors cause some idiots gotta keep it goin. I wish i could call motorex and drop 70k All at once for a GTR R33 but I cant not yet

hahaah ive own a impreza thank you very much.. also a 94 L sedan..

with a jdm ej20g and bolt ons.. (link ecu, 3" turbo back, fmic and intake 15 psi)
awd conversion, oem 4 pots ss lines all around... fhi 21mm sway bar, v5 sti springs and struts, v5/6 exterior.. grill, bumper, lip, sides, valences, spoiler and front ad rear lips with a aluminum hood. and it was rolling \ on 17inch OZ SL with azenis !!! :) and yes i still had my ac so no need for a roof vent ROFL!!

I started that route but it was never suppose to be my daily just a winter beater, then the 1.8 rear seal was bad so instead of dropping in another one i opted for a new motor, well lack of funds and time restraint to get the car back said i couldnt hold off for an EJ20T but had to settle for the USDM EJ25 which i did plans for a turbo have been layed out though:

Send the tranny to Rallispec for STI gears adn cusco center LSD ,
then Turbo Pistons to lower compression
CObb Mild Cams, then a nice t3/t4 setup witha Hyrda EMS. and thats pretty much the outline of the basic setup i may shoot for if i cant find a black 240SX when it comes time to buy or go big with what i got.


Ive found those J30 Headlights (theyre off the Infinity right? ) they look like butt i think too non aggressive. I dont see how they can make the car look better id be better off clearing the cloudy lenses and slapping in HIDs, im still set on the one piece black housed R33 headlights, no one else has to like it just me and my RB powered S14 :newbie:

oh no no no no we dont care about performance, you just need more show, like lambo doors, euro r33 tails, streetglow full lighting accesories, and a bunch of nos stickers, with no power at all, then we will like it.....lol



































j/k really i think an r33 front on an s14 doesnt look to bad, i think a zenki s14 and r33 are very similar looking cars

Have you thought about using the 97/98 front end instead?

It's cheaper....labor you can do yourself...and if your really crafty(sp?) you can retrofit HID projectors into the housing. Also..you can make the inside housing black yourself (like I have done) and don't forget the GLASS lenses. :)

Yeah i thought about the Kouki Style but i like the Zenki more if it wasnt for those horrid two piece headlights and plastic covers. I thought about those (someone correct me if im wrong) Final Konnoxion ? theres a GB on the clear covers now for the Zenki model. or even thought about goin to Clearcorners and seeing what they can do for Projector and HIDs, but in the same hand i have an HID sponsor for my Impreza club and i can get kits for 300 shipped to me so i dont know if i would be paying more goin through CC. But at this time since i think i might have found the base car the light issues are aside its time to locate a shop on the upper east coast (NY,NJ,) to do a R33 GTR swap. Im looking into Heavy Throttle since ive been following them for almost 2 or 3 years now and theyve come a LONG way. Unstable Hybrids seems to have their site down ( i was goin to grab some info off there). anyone have any other shops in mind ?

That S14 above is ok. More than likely the front end was chopped and molded to fit. It's just gaudy.

dude some people fawk up conversions.. I think thats a really good front conversion he had on that s14.. but everything else killed it... i.e. rims, sideskirts, graphics. yadda yadda...

Yeah i have to agree that car could look a Ton better but anyways i think im goin with - GDM headlights? can anyone else varify that name ? To me they look like EuroSpec 200sx headlights. but hes a shot of what im talking about.
