isnt it amazing how you can watch movies over and over when you are sick at home. then you get well enough to sit up, and i finally found enough patience to warp to the end of chrono trigger and beat this fucking game. thank god for warping and cheating, because this game sucks.

i mean yeah the gameplay is okay and what not, but the ending is a mere catastrophy and disappointment. i go through all this hooplah just to get to the end, and what.. you fight lavos... oooooooh big fucking stink. so bust the illuminaire on his ass, fuck him up with confuse.. and BAM.. death. i strong handed the game and beat it.

all for what? a stupid night parade? say goodbye to my friends before they warp away?

dude, SNES gameplay STILL has nothing when compared to old video games on NES -- like what you ask? RYGAR. Rygar is such a fucking badassed video game that it doesnt even have save points. This means, if you want to beat it here is what you do:

put the character in a corner and put a piece of tape over the turbo punch button and turn off the TV, come back in 1 day and you're character will be SUPER strong and have massive power capabilities. go, fight through the game and eventually... in maybe 1-2 days, you'll beat the game.

THAT is what a video game is about. That, and Knights of the Xentar on PC.. atleast you can sleep with women in different villiages while playing these RPG games. Shit, if i was living back in the day fighting with swords travelling the world, i'de be banging SO many chicks. DNA test? i dont think so, not in the year 1500 thats for sure. peace bitch, it wasnt me!

Actually, I agree with Mike this time... Gameplay of games that DON'T include cars or sporting events generally happen to be shit. Anyone ever had an atari 2600? The games were hard (if only because of a shitty controller) and whenever you finished the damn things you actually felt you'd accomplished something... I remember being 11 and playing Mega Man on NES with my cousin what felt like a million years ago, and that game was honestly the GREATEST at the time and finishing that game again led us to the feeling we'd accomplished something. Anyone remember Contra? Who beat that game without using the cheat that EVERYONE knew? I did once... Once. As it stands, I rarely buy video games not car or sports related, the last one I got was FIFA Soccer 2004, and my favorite non-car/sports related game to come out in the last 9-10 years has been the first Metal Gear Solid. I don't get into those inane first person shooters, I can't see myself wasting my life away on some Final Fantasy bullshit.

One of the endings Frog turns back to a human, another the cats chase Chrono's mom into a time portal, another the future still gets fucked up by Lavos, another is a secret ending where you go to the "End of Time" and there are a bunch of random enemies and such there that you can talk to that will tell you things about the game. I personally thing that one is funny cause one of the ppl you talk to will say "Game Erase in 5...4...3...2...1..." and then your screen goes blank for like 5 seconds. It's funny when ppl reset their games or turn them off after talking to that guy. Anyways, there are a couple others but you probably wouldn't like them.

contra was a fucking fun game, the accomplishment was great because so many people could beat the game. we ALL know the key was SPREAD. i love the shit you would do to your friends when you got bored with the game, like they would want to lead and just when they were going to jump over a ditch player #2 stops so the screen stops scrolling and they fall into the ditch and die, losing spreadgun and all their specialties. hahaha thats So fucking great.

I am in disagreement, I own EVERY ONE of the need for speed games, and the first one "Road & Track presents: 'The Need For Speed'" was the shittiest of the franchise. It wasn't a bad game in 1996, but be sure that Electronic Arts got better at it over the course of the following 8 years and 9 total games... My favorite of the Need For Speeds was "Need For Speed III, High Stakes." GT2 is cool, but I like GT3 better personally and I am waiting impatiently for GT4.

I've only met ONE other person that thinks that, and has actually beaten the game. I can get to jaws super quick also, I could just never kill his ass with the boat. That is one game that I have never beaten and it upset me. The mini sub kicks ass, as did dropping bombs on the jellyfish from the plane.
