a spring is a spring is a spring, as long as the perch is the same diameter/size it would work... that being said, what is a 'real' coilover spring, am i left to assume that there is 'fake' coilover springs as well?

Don't be a cheapskate.
If you want sleeves like that, buy ground control. that way you know the perches and sleeves are quality parts.
As far as I know the crappy "dropzone" kits do use standard diameter springs.

I've talked to groundcontrol/eibach about making me custom springs for my old Kei Office coilovers and they said they had a size and length applicable to the kei office, so it can be done, I think the same was said abuot my JICs that Eibach made springs that diameter and length

putting groundcontrol/eibach springs on Kei Office coilovers is like putting APC products on a Porsche

Eibach ERS racing springs are among the best in the world. You have no idea what you're talking about. They're available in hundreds of different rates in small increments, lots of different spring lengths, and two different diameters.
Don't assume because they make a (very high quality) street spring kit that they're not capable of making world-class racing parts.

ive had both the ebay coil over perches, and ground control, its the same thing. So theres no point to pay all that money for ground control perches. I will be atempting to put 9k springs in front, with 7k in rear. and when i said real coilover, I ment from like kei office, tein, jic etc full coilover*

I live in Germany,(where Eibach springs are made) so maybe I'm partial, but Eibach makes some of, if not, the, best springs in the world. Their springs can be found in F1, CART, GT, Rally, etc; they've been in numerous Le Mans winners' cars. Their spring knowledge and manufacturing procedures are top notch. They make springs for everything from car's to ball-point pens. I just hate it when people get so crazy about "JDM" (not that there aren't really good top notch companies in Japan) some people just think that anything not made in Japan, can't come close to stuff made in Japan.

Afco springs are also very nice, and are made in just about any size, length or rate you could want.
When I get some softer springs for the street, I'll likely just get a custom set of Eibach, or Afco springs for my JIC's.

wow.
I was gonna add to the "don't diss GC and Eibach" retaliation, but DAMN, everyone beat me to it.
