$5,000 over kbb.. 22-23 years old... 105k on a rotary could mean replacement in the near future which is only like $1,000.. Why are people still asking so much for these f'n cars, they're 1993 nothing. That's not even OBD II.
These cars go for around $4,000 in japan.

Did you know that any engine in any car can blow up and then cost thousands of bucks? If you think about it, cars are wastes of money. We should just start walking everywhere. And wear really really slick shoes, and pour slippery stuff on the ground. Then we can jog drift and hug trees. I really like taco Tuesdays...it has such a good ring to it. Sometimes I pick my nose and flick the boogers in stranger's houses...the rush of maybe getting caught is so exciting. My bad for trailing off, you babbling about shit you don't know about made me think it's time to share our worthless thoughts.
If that Kelly guy with his fancy blue book showed me 10 running and driving clean title 100k FD RX-7's for $5k less than my asking price, I will buy them all ON SIGHT and give that man $500 commission per car...they don't even have to be uber rare one owner 0 accident R1 models, i'll take a base model with a few accidents at that price.

Glws, that's a good price for a R1 in good shape. Bump for a fellow FD owner

15k + additional fees to repair future rotary flaws + gas = tons of money
Lesson? Don't buy an rx7 if u don't have a good amount of cash. Glws bro, hope you find the man who has money on zilvia which is rare.

Yeah and Starions sell for $3500 here in America and $15,000 in Japan. Your point?

Kinda ironic to try to take jabs at how big of a POS rotary is on a s-chassis forum. They're the DSM of the RWD world. Quality>quantity. I'd rather have 1 half running FD than 4 half running SR hatches
Man good thing we're in Japan.
I hate being in Japan...Camaros are $4k in the US and $15k here :(

Don't go in on the SR20s. They didn't do anything to you.

never bashed the rotary, just saying the fd short blocks are only like $1,000 certified and have been that cheap for at least 6 years. A long block (which you should never need in a catastrophic engine failure case) is like $1,500 if you have a decent hookup.
I've seen numerous rollers with less mileage for $3500-5000 and a lot of <$10,000 running cars with similar or equal mileage.
and $5,000 over blue book is crazy for a car that is the first year of the model which happens to be almost classic/historical lol...
drop the price to $8,000-$9,000 and you might get it. or trade for something newer and alike.. s2000? Evo VIII? whatever. It's not a rare car.

Very clean FD although I don't believe it's an R1.
R1's only came in black, red, or silver.
R1's only came with black interior and suede seats.
Fog lights generally only came factory on touring models, unless later added.
Again, very clean FD. By any chance does it have a sunroof?
Either way, should have no problem selling regardless.

The one I almost bought was Red with black suede interior. I didn't want to say anything because I only researched the R1 when I wanted one a couple years back.
Regardless, that green/tan is as good as it gets.

I'm sorry that you took my comment in a negative way. I do really want to own an fd one day, it's just that the costs would be much less if it was under a person who genuinely knows a lot about the rotary engine.

Pretty sure its not an R1, no suede seats, and from the looks of the picture no dual oil coolers.
Sunroof? That would seal the deal.
