I have read before that this twin would be good up to 600whp or 650hp
"
Our OS Giken Racing Clutch features two 204mm full faced disks and has a recommended horsepower rating up to 600whp (vehicle spec dependent)
· The TS2B racing clutch is considered the workhorse of our lineup! While engineering design has changed over the years, the TS2B is one of our original multi-plate designs. It has been tried and true in multiple forms of motorsport (drag, drifting, and time attack) with withstanding high abuse.
· Our full faced clutch disk design allows for easy clutch modulation and increased drivability versus the commonly used “puck” style designs from other brands, which result in a very on/off clutch feel. Our specially designed clutch release sleeve (sold separately) utilizes a tapered design that reduces clutch pedal effort.
· Even with the additional clutch disk, our twin plate assembly is still approximately 15% lighter than the OEM single plate clutch/flywheel assembly! Understandably, the lighter assembly weight and smaller than OEM disks greatly reduces total rotating mass, resulting in quicker engine response and increased drivetrain efficiency!!!
· All OS Giken clutches feature mono-piece, heat treated, lightweight steel flywheels. Unique to an OS Giken multi-plate clutch is our 360° billet clutch housing, which provides an incredible amount of rigidity and durability to the entire clutch/flywheel assembly

That's good. I wonder what would have to be done to use this clutch with the 350z transmission. Supposedly people have used twin disc clutch before.

I would imagine once you have the bell housing adapter to mount the tranny to the engine it would come down to slave/fork/release bearing configuration. There might be someone with a writeup on this if they have done it like you said.
I know for many twin plates as well as this OSG one you need to use the shorter OEM release bearing 30502-14601. It is noted on many manufacturers websites even.

I got a spacer to move the release closer to the clutch on my trans because I'm using the later model with the concentric slave / release bearing. Maybe if I just took the spacer off then it would work for the twin disc. It's only about 1/2" thick.

It is all about the engagement on the pressure plate as well as the overall travel.
