SR20DET Rear Sump Oil pan

Does anybody have information on these? Where to purchase for reasonable price or a build of somebody elses?

I have searched and found minimal results.
Gotten quotes with the lowest being $750 to build one.

Swapping into a BMW E36 and am in need of a rear sump oil pan.

I believe Nigel at engineered to slide found a cheap solution for the same problem on his NA coupe. Miata guys also need a rear sumps so if I remember correctly that is what he used.

Nigel did indeed find one a while back for the NA s13, though I dont recall it being cheap..its been a while i forget

Looks like its around $1700 yikes. I'm attempting to ball on a budget as much as possible, that seems damn expensive for an oil pan.


Edit: Just got quote at $2200. F that.

Any other solutions?

I can! Just not tig weld.....maybe ill pick up an aftermarket steel pan and make my own :D or bring it to a local shop and have them rig something up

I've looked into this as well, and gotten quotes from machine shops for around $1000, Touge factory said it would be about $1400. and I've had a few friends who said they could do it for around $700-800. I'm surprised this isn't needed by more people.

You can probably piece together a dry sump setup for much cheaper than the Mazworx kit.
