I beg to differ. I am in San Antonio, born in Taft (a small town in texas, population 5k) which is 90% hispanic, and raised in a town near Port Aransas (Aransas Pass, population 9k, 1/2 hispanic), attended college in Kingsville (University of Texas A&M-Kingsville Population 25k+ three fourths hispanic) and moved and have lived ever since in San Antonio which is 2/3 hispanic. Most of my friends and relatives are in the valley, or southern portion of Texas below Corpus Christi. I am hispanic as well, which does not very much support your beliefs.

oh yeah, i guess i should tell you guys that the hat isn't mine. in fact, there weren't any hicks in the bars we went to, really. texas is the most diverse state in the union for the fact that it has just about every kind of environment (including the bussling cities).

i just wanted to post my adventure. i have other shots that'll prolly be added soon.

p.s. its kinda hard to defend cali when Texas is OBVIOUSLY superior in every way, shape, and form ;) hehe

Actually San Angelo north. but yeah I haven't been much further south than San Antonio.

I like Texas because they have those chubby horned desert Lizards. What ever those things are called, but I dont know if they have those in cali as well. To bad we dont have them here in ATL. couple of things about Cali. 1st there should be two of them North and South. 2nd 10 percent humidity. 3rd goes along with 2nd I could surf in the morning, ski mid-day, and ride motorcycles in the desert in the afternoon all while wearing a t-shirt. I haven' been too many other places though so I don't know if it is the best place at all. I know I hate the cali. government. I can't wait to check out the East Coast and the Great White North.
