So that was my front right strut on my zenki. Pretty scary!
Upgraded to kyb agx and s tech springs. I'm waiting for an alignment to be done on Tuesday then I'll see how much of an improvement it is. Pile on the fact that I changed both inner and outer tie rods too (all moog).

christmas combo.... it is probably one of the most uncomfortable ride quality i've ever sat in. anyway, good job on doing maintenance and hope you're prepared for the flaming that is about to occur.

Flaming for what? That I didn't buy coilovers?
Anyway, I noticed when I installed one of the top hats on the front strut it seemed to be off a little bit from where it's supposed to be.
So, I marked the old struts assembly with white chalk to line things up (from the outside). When I installed the new strut with the old top hat, the chalk wasnt lined up like the old set. It was off by a little bit probably 20 degrees or so. Should I be worried?

^Yes, your car will probably spontaneously combust now.

I actually reinstalled it and made sure it was aligned properly this time. It's so easy to change these things now.
My next project might be changing out the exhaust set up. It's looking pretty rusty lol.

Did you know: the factory exhaust system on an American S14 KA24DE 240sx is identical to the exhaust found on the Nissan Silvia SR20DET??
Though it need not be said, I just want to say it anyways: If an sr20det can put 250rwhp to the ground through that exhaust system, it should be good enough for any N/A Ka24 (if you like your car quiet)
