Yes he is right my bro had a 00 eclipes with a 2.4 single cam that with had some hanging there but me top end if you what that means about a car...GT eclipse have a V6

Long story short, under car looking at a gear sticking out of the transfer cas, two months looking for a used tranny, finally located one 4states away at a junkyard for $1400.
