During the whole summer my idle was perfect and steady at 850 rpms. Only went up slightly during idle when I turned on the A/C and fans. All summer the car was driving pretty good although I felt it still had some problems needing worked out. The CAS is advanced all the way which makes me think the timing is off. No timing gun. Not sure if I have a boost leak since I haven't tested it with gauges and also don't have a boost controller hooked up.
Well today I started it up again and it seems like my high idle problem is back. The recent cold weather might have something to do with this. It's steady at 1300 rpm. I flipped the headlights up and turned them on and the idle drops to 1000 rpm. So I drove around today with my headlights on during the day to see if this made a difference. Dodged a cop with the quickness since my inspection is expired. lol. I got the ebay bov adjusted today to where the throttle is most responsive and the car won't stall out. So far it's running ok.
So what do you guys think is wrong with my car?
