I just recently picked up some motor mounts for my car ka24de-t and I got Meagan motor mounts to replace the old worn factory ones. After putting the the motor in the car. I realized the hood wouldn't close because the turbo was sitting too high. I have a doc race manifold and a precision 6265. I was wondering if anyone knew what mounts lower the engine about a 1".

you can always take your stock mounts and fill them with polyurethane... just pop out the little caps on the sides (set a screwdriver on them and smack with hammer, be careful though, theyre filled with liquid), inside nozel and fill, wait for poly to dry and youre done.
MOST aftermarket mounts are a bit higher/longer than the OEM mounts.

Can't remember if the drift freaq ones lower the engine but would highly recommend them for sure.easier to install then the factory style mounts also!

Just get some Xcessive KA lowering brackets. They're cheap and will give you the extra clearance you need. I had the same problem with nismo mounts on my old Ka-t setup and the excessive brackets did the trick. Here's the link http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ONLINESTORE.html?cid=41&step=4&pid=143
I'm surprised no one mentioned the excessive brackets. No point shopping around for new mounts that may or may not provide the clearance you need when you can just buy a product that was made to solve this exact issue lol.

They aren't. Most factory mounts after 100k miles have sagged. Putting new mounts in raises the engine because the old mounts were so compressed.
Nismo mounts are the same external dimensions as factory mount. Only difference is they are sold rubber where the OEM mount has a silicone center for NHV.
The Megan mounts are clones of stock mounts in solid rubber.
