i've come to notice that the aftermarket for 2-3 row aluminum radiators for s14s with ka's is fucking WEAK! can you fit an sr20 ready s14 radiator on the ka and use the same technique the guys with the ka radiators on the sr's do? you know, where the metal pipe goes across the radiator to make up for the waterneck on the block being on the opposite side of the neck coming out of the radiator. or, if someone can find a good deal for a 2-3 row aluminum radiator made for s14 ka24de i'd be glad to buy it, otherwise i'd love it if i could get a good opinion on this idea, and where to buy that metal pipe all chromed out and what-have-you if i do do this, thanks.

Metal pipe, any place that sells pipes .. a pipe store... a metal pipe store .. with pipes made of metal that sell them to the public that wants metal of the pipes .. not the ol' crack pipe made of foil .. on no sir, the metal pipe

How about a fluidyne

SOmething I was going to do:
Went to a local rad' shop to fix a leak in mine. Talked for a little bit, found out that they would be willing to build me a 3 row rad', that was going to cost MUCH less then anything on the market ... you may or may not want to try doing something like that.

Guys I got an S15 Silvia Spec-R Jspec model. My fan clutch just died and I'm looking to install a Fle-A-Lite double E-Fan. I can find flex-A-LItes for KA24DE and I wonder if it will fit to the SR20 radiator too. I dunno if the radiators are of the same size. Can anybody who made a conversion to SR20DET tell me???
Please it's kind of urgent since I have currently locked the blades to the fan clutch and I'm loosing great amount of power + I got that annoying sound of the fan.

oh and for those who wonder if KA is better than SR.
Just what I did.. boost up to 1.0bar(1.15-1.2 overboost) + full exhaust system with no cat. and dynoed at 301bhp with a very good clutch that is.
a friend with this engine full exhaust system (With stock cat!!!) 550cc injectors walbro fuel pump and ECU 357wbhp and recently with turbo (low mount-not a big one) dynoed at 429wbhp. ok the ECU costed a lot since it's an AEM but that car can dig holes before launching if you want to
so go for the 7000revs instead of KAs 5500. That's my opinion. but now pls tell me about that radiator I asked befor :D

YES it will fit, YES same size. i would recommend doing 2 12" ebay fans and wire to the ignition. total cost 60$. works just as good

Wow, you bump a 4yr old thread to ask a question that's more obvious than 'does the sun create light'.
The radiator is identical except for the outlet neck being on the opposite side. Welcome to Earth.

Thanks for the "kind" replys but I don't post to the forum so often an I don't live in the US and I have never seen a KA24DE engine infront of me AND there is not one around these places. We only got JDMs here in Cyprus (very small Island in Europe). There's only one 240Z at my friends garage for recondition with an RB26 block and a turbine that will fit your heads inside... i.e. Ive never seen a 240Z stock.
And again... Sorry for asking kind ppl :mrmeph:
thnx to 420sx for beeing kind of kind.

Guys, this thread was 4 years old when bumped, the ensuing discussion is less than necessary.
