Hello fellow zilvians! Long time lurker first time poster.
Anyways, I bought this car a little under 2 months ago it's a SOHC Ka24 and it ran good and passed smog no problemo. Over the last two weeks though, I was having trouble with the clutch. When I started the car in the morning to drive to work it would be really hard to put it into gear. Didn't matter if I sat there letting it warm up for 20mins it would still be difficult to get it into gear I would have to force it in a bit, but after driving for about 10-15 minutes everything would be fine again.
I mostly drove my other car last week because I didn't want to deal it. So today I go to start the 240 and before I could, I notice my clutch is pushed all the way down. Im still able to start the car and I can pull the pedal back up with my feet, but theres no pressure when I press it down and it doesn't come back up. There's also a little clicking sound when I press it in, not sure if that helps.
I've searched google and other forums but wasn't sure if it was the same problem. I've read it could be the Master/slave cylinder, bleeding it, pressure plate, or the spring. If you guys have any more input or in San Diego (I'm new here) and would like to help, I'd gladly appreciate it!
TL;DR - SOHC ka24. Had a hard time putting car into gear, now clutch has no resistance and sticks to floor, can still start it though. If there's anybody in the San Diego (I'm new here) area that can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
