View Full Version : S14 Trunk leak

Have a carbon fiber trunk being held in by pins. When it rains, a pool a water builds up on both driver and passenger sides. Nothing really in the middle since I have a fuel cell . I think there isn't any seal. Considering just putting the OEM trunk back on, but I think with the rear trunk pins in there, it looks like that may not be possible.
I'm curious if any else had this experience?

It's leaking at the pins. What did you expect with holes drilled straight through it?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking but was hard to tell since I didn't see rusting around that area. Sorry, the car is sort of my step child since it's owned by my girlfriend who doesn't know much about it. So now it's pretty much my new project that I'm trying to fix.
