Last year i upgraded my whole braking system on my 2001 S15 Spec-R.
Up front i fitted K-Sport 8-Pot 330mm's, and at the rear i fitted the Z32 Rear Brake conversion.
To make use of the extra braking power, i upgraded the OEM master cylinder, to the Z32 BM57.
Now over the last few weeks, i have noticed a 'creaking' noise when pressing the brake pedal. only notice this when im at a standstill as thats when everything else is quiet i suppose.
Here is a video (not my car) to show the exact noise
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVmfsDmt1A8
Now i haven't noticed anything untoward with the braking performance or feel, but i assume the noise is due to knackered seals in the BM57. has anyone had this before?
Has anyone rebuilt their BM57 with new seals etc? Is it easier/more cost effective to simply replace the BM57?
