And as if on cue, the hippies will gather around to voice their displeasure with such an insensitive comment by someone in power, failing to remember that he won what was nothing more than a fuggi popularity contest to get where he is...

homophobia? they think he's in the closet cause he pointed out the spineless nature of some people.

he says what he thinks is right without remorse. i dont' even live in cali but i am glad to see a man stand up and talk like a man instead of assuming the role middle aged white heterosexual men are usualy subjected to in today's society.

hell yeah dude, tell em to pucker up and pick a cheek.

omg, i swear people are soooo frickin sensitive...

he said girlie man...wow...BIG FRICKIN DEAL!

Everything has to be so politically correct nowadays. I'm glad he said it. Real, everyday people say stuff like that, why cant our governor? I'd rather him say whats really on his mind than have him be fake about it. I swear, all our politicians do nowadays is piss and moan about insignificant stuff. They need to stop bitching at eachother and get back to what they're SUPPOSED to be doing and thats meeting the needs of the people.

Then I guess I will simply not miss the fact that I have not and will not EVER live in California

You're basing not ever living in California on the fact that our current governor said "girlie man"?

No, I base my decision on all the other bullshit you go through, what with getting your car legal, dealing with law enforcement and having a nationally televised popularity contest decide who is the governor... The "girlie man" comment is something I actually see as kinda cool, but not quite cool enough to override my common sense.

the governator RULES. I think only Jesse Ventura could match his level of coolness.

Ventura/Schwarznegger in 2008!

i see your point :D

I've lived many places but i always will come back to ca,

hot cars, nice weather, beaches, skiing, hot girls everywhere.... life aint so bad :D

the laws suck and the regulations are kinda strict... but its worth getting around them for a bit of cali sunshine :D

Arnolds a funny guy, his using humor may be a bit "off" and not politicalkly correct but the fact that he is human and has a sense of humor wins more points with me than the rest of the politicians who analyze everything he says...
