So, after a long day of doing work on my S13 I decided to install my LED's last night. But, I was an idiot and decided to test out the lights after installing them with the cluster sitting on the exposed metal steering column.
After a few pops and some smoke my clock light now seems permanently dead along with one of my cluster lights only turning on when my ignition is set to ACC or ON.
What could be causing this? I checked all fuses in car and in the engine bay, all bulbs are good, and after trying to repair what looked like a bad trace on the back of the cluster I'm left with more questions than answers. My lighting control box was checked as well and had no visible damage whatsoever.
I'm about ready to throw in the towel at this point, but figured I would try here for some help.
