View Full Version : 740cc sti injectors

So I've done a lot of searching and can't find anything. Everything I find is only about the 550cc sti injectors. Has anyone heard of or have personal experience using the yellow 740cc ej25 sti injectors on an sr? They are oem injectors from the sti and run only in the $200 range. I'm guessing they fit the same as the yellow 550's. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Are they high impedance injectors ? That might be one factor in determining if they are viable.

Hmm, I wouldn't base your entire opinion on the color of the injectors but I thought the yellow sidefeeds were 550s?

Yes they are high impedance injectors. And I thought the yellows were 550 as well but I found some that say they are 740cc.

They are 525 cc (had them flow tested, they also ran like that based on the injector scaling). Definitely not anywhere close to 740 cc.

Thanks. So definitely stay away from these? I've got an rs enthalpy ecu tuned for 740's and don't want my motor to go kaput.

These are modified to increase the flow rate. The part number they list "HP638-303" is used by Venom for their 720cc injectors.
