so i got my compression test today and it was on for the 1,2, and 4 cylinders but the #3 was 10psi lower than the other ones. so basically im looking for advice on my engines ability to handle the greddy turbo kit, i already have my mind 85% made up. 96 240 ka motor, my engine has 110k i've had it for the past 60k and changed the oil every 3000miles with moble 1 synthetic, i don't drive past the 5k rev. range, im getting a new clutch/flywheel, i have apexi n1 dual exhaust, and yea thats about it. i am probabily going to end up getting it but i was hoping for some advice or for someone to point out some aspect that was overlooked. :bigok: so anyhelp would be greatly appriciated.
thanks

Kris-
I just finished my Greddy kit install (95) 240sxse and it had 138,000 at the time. I'm the second owner and haven't had any problems with the engine at all. The car runs like a raped ape. I never did a compression test, I just went with the if it blows I'll get another one attitude, and it paid off big time. Hope you enjoy your kit, it's pretty awsome. Let me know if you have any install questions.

I also installed my kit with 140k mile engine.... and no problems as of yet.. love the kit... even though it was PITA to install... I just wish it was CARB legal

well thanks for replying i feel better about getting the kit, i have kindof the same attitude "if it blows ill get a new one"
it was my understanding that the greddy kit was carb legal...or at least pending a carb number.

I had 107k in my 95 ka motor when I turboed mine.
Go ahead and proceed with the turboing.
