Who uses one? Who dailys one? I had a buddy tell me anything besides a AEM system for a standalone will make dailying horrible, is this true? Just trying to figure out what I want

It really comes down to your tuner, their preference, level of experience and attention to detail on the tune. We have customers who daily drive on AEM, Haltech, Nistune, Vipec, Power-FC etc.

I have a nistune ecu at the moment but would love to get rid of the MAF, some guy I know told me megasquirt will give my car hiccups and bad starts and daily problems, it has AC control and all Wich my sr has ac Wich is cool

It mainly comes down to "how good is your tuner", and what the tuner prefers to tune with.

as long as the tuner knows what he's doing you won't have any problems. as many standalones i've seen run flawlessly I've seen piggybacks run like complete crap. it all comes down to the man behind the computer. (assuming the setup you have is good to begin with)
