I just bought my s14 with a RB25DET and wondering what kind of Tranny it has so i can buy a new CLUTCH. (:

Perhaps you should do some research on the equipment you have in the car...

Hint- It's not quite a GSR tranny, but most definitely could be an RB25 transmission.

rb20/rb25 clutches are the same, unless you have a newer pull type... which i doubt because you have an ignitor, so probably have a series 1 25. there are plenty of pictures on the internet that a google search would bring up.

but here are a few pics to help. Smaller ones are rb20 tranny, bigger ones are rb25 transmission.

The driveshaft yoke is also larger on the RB25 transmission

I've seen an RB25 transmission that is the same length as the sr20det transmission- and it fit the same driveshaft as well. But it came on a factory RB25 we pulled from a Laurel.

just drop the trans down and make sure before you order clutch.

Sounds like a RB20 transmission.
