me and grant...well, mostly grant...heh, installed them on my base model 97 and there were no pre-existing holes either. What we did was use self tapping screws along the bottom of the car and double sided tape along the sides. Worked fine.

we didnt use any clips. Just self tapping screws on the bottow and then double sided tape on the sides...its kinda hard to explain it in writing. I'll be at SpeedAlliance tomorrow around 4ish or so...maybe earlier. If you stop by i could show you what i mean.

I suggest you do the self-tapping screws and double sided tape. I broke some of the clips and grommets when I took mine off. I went to the dealership to buy some new grommets and they were $2.25 each. I forget how much the clips were, but they were more than $2.25. So I'll let you figure out the math.....

Are you kidding? I think I paid $64 for a damned end cap, which they ended up losing, so they had to order another.
