As i installed my tein flex, i noticed that the rear, bottom mounting points of the coilovers had a bushing within the hole. The bushing sticks out farther on one side than the other.
Does anyone know if the side that sticks out farther should be facing the wheel, or facing the center of the car.

I went ahead and guessed that the longer bushing side should go in towards the wheel.

Sorry, no pics, but hopefully someone will know what i'm talking about and will be able to help.

Thanks

It's facing the right direction.

I believe its supposed to go the other way. The bushing is somewhat tapered for fitment on the mounting bolt.

The stock stuff had the same, but you probably just didnt notice.

Hawd is correct, that piece faces towards the wheel.

The stock struts had a bushing, but the length was equal on both sides. I went ahead and contacted tein, and they said just to make sure that the side with the tein label is facing outward, i haven't looked at it yet, but when i'm positive i'll post it.
thanks for the input
