Ok a new version came out where you really have to drift in the game...

the initial d games are fun, but it is a game, based on a cartoon. Real life drivers who think they all dat tend to get their panties in a bunch when they get their ass handed to him by kids who don't have drivers permits yet.

ya ver 3 is harder than ver2 cause if you hit a wall it slows you down for the rest of the race, not just the 3 seconds afterwards. It just means that you gotta get better, and not hit the walls so much. And I hate how these little kids think they are hot shit, then when I ask what car they drive in REAL LIFE...most say they cant drive yet, or the popular response is "my mom's minivan" haha. dont get frustrated at em, just know you are better.

Malibu in redwood city has is. The keys are useless to me cause i use the nsx-r..so you can't fix it up when you win. The only thing it's good for is keeping records or buying an inferior car to begin with and fixing it up through winning..but it still wont get as good as the special cars

initial d is ok, it just annoys me how little kids like to talk crap to me if they beat me...im like first off, its A GAME calm down, secondly you dont even have to countersteer in this game so you're not really doing that much. Then they proceed to ask me what countersteer is! Sad.... Anyway, if i do play, i usually play it by myself cuz most people at the arcade take that game waaaay too seriously. But Battle Gear is by far a better game! I havent seen a Battle Gear 3 in San Diego yet, only Battle Gear 2, which is still good so im not complaining. Plus, they have it at Wunderland so its only a quater (5 nickels actually) to play!

Hmmmm, i think i may have to stop by Wunderland tonight. :D

i remember playing battle gear down here, usually all the initial d players stay away from the bg machine do to the lack of mods, they dont offer us a key, so when its a battle its stock vs stock or special vs special, the ultimate sleeper is the evo III, i had this one kid over lapped about 2-3 times, "he bragged when he beat me on initial d" - AND told me to get a BETTER car, i just drive the s13 for fun on initial d.... plus i own a coupe so.. wtf the kid was like 12? one time i took off and a group of initial d kids were outside waiting for their moms to pick them up, i drove by them by like 5mph giving them the :coolugh: " HEY GUYS, YOU LIKE DRIFTING?! " LMAO
