Drift Event in Chicago?

I was talking to a 240 owner the other day who had stopped to talk to me at the gas station, and he said that he was planning on going to a drift event in Chicago the same weekend that Hot Import Nights was (july 24th), but he said the drift event was on Sunday the 25th.

Anybody know what/when/where this is, or if the guy was incorrect.

Its a Drift 101 event IIRC, I was going to go, but kinda alot of money for the whole trip just to drift for 2 days. But for those in Chi town, should be great. Its at Tire Rack IIRC

ill be up at hin again... im driving 3 hours from iowa to go.. we should all get some food before the show or something ill have 2 buddies with me

yes there is an "US DRIFT" event happening on Saturday, but damn if they have given any info at all, we are just left to assume that if we show up it will happen, so far the event seems to be poorly run, and really dosent have much of a chance of happening again. I say look foward to the next Club FR Drift Day :coold: .

Well US Drift was going to be on 24-25, but they have been all shady lately and now the competition seems to be canceled (not 100% and nobdody can get any answers from them), but it will only be on the 24th, the night of HIN. We had an event 2 weeks ago at the same track (Tire Rack), it was great 6 hours 30 drivers non-stop. US Drift will run the same time but 50 drivers (they still aren't even sure about that number yet its in 5 days). Oh well regardless I'll be there, seat time is seat time.

Head to ClubFR.net and wait till the next Dift Day is announced.

Oh sweet, they brought it back. My friend had sent pics to RSR and everything, it was supposed to be in August, but the drivers couldnt get therre cars down in time.
