So I recently bought a 95 240 5 speed off a friend from work. He messed with it for a while and then lost interest. The original engine started knocking then blew up. A friend of his had a 93 KA24DE with an automatic transmission. He swapped engines but never saw the swap through. He couldn't get it to run so he gave up. After he replaced the cap and rotor, plugs, wires, and MAF, he still had no luck. He told me before I bought it that all it needed was a new ECU from an S13 5 speed. Does anybody have any input or insight on my problem?
