i'm in need of some help to work on my car. i dont have the tools, and very limited garage space.

what the problem is, i think, is the rightside TEIN HE coilovers. for some reason, they've lowered themselves to the point where the front right tire is scraping/hitting the bottom of the fender area. i never really did anything to make this happen recently.

the only thing i maybe able to attribute to this was that i got into an accident in february, but my car has been repaired since then. i really need help asap, because this is my car i use to drive to school and work everyday.

if you can help me, pls let me know asap - i'm willing to pay you of course. or if you know of anyplace in san fran that could help me.

pm me, email me, or call me.

i worked on my car last sunday. what i had to do was use my uncle's garage and his tools.

but get this, this is what was wrong:

i never took my wheels off before, so this was my first time doing it. when i bought my car it had tein HE's on it, i looked at the pillowball mount when i popped the hood and assumed everything was all good.

but what do i find when i take my wheels off? THE COILOVERS WERE INSTALLED WRONG! my shocks were getting no help from the springs. they never locked the bottom plate. no wonder my shit was so rough, and here i was thinking thats just how they were.

at least my ride is somewhat bearable now.

moral of the story: never assume something was installed correctly. THE END.

also simply taking your wheels off and checking your coilovers would have saved you time from posting for help...
