Im gettin the car painted and new rear quarter glass is like 100 bucks ... thats why I asked

yea its not that easy to take it off since it glued on prety tight and that glue is very frikin grippy. but i asume you could rip it off with enough brute force (id probably brake it). :p

All you would need to remove the quarter glass would be some sort of windshield removal tool like the attached:

Most auto body shops would have have this type of tool in stock and can easily do the removal for you. But it's more of a hassle than it's worth. Why do you think most auto body shops just mask the gasket & quater window?? So they DON"T have to remove it. Why take the chance of creating future leaking problems cuz the quarter glass wasn't sealed right after it was removed & reglued back in place just to paint the car??

Anyhow...that's my opinion...your's may vary...good luck!!
