I've had it for 9 months. The rear tab cracked and was hanging by a tack weld. Had that put back on then the rear of the resonator where the out pipe goes in cracked 360. It was fine for 3 months now the outer part of the cap cracked 270. If I had the money this would have been gone by now. The guy that welded it all three times says that the rear cap is super thin.
Yes, I have the ST sway bar set. That's a 7/8" rear bar.

You know, you could have just asked for a warranty exchange on the exhaust through the retail dealer you purchased the exhaust from... all 5Zigen catback exhaust systems are covered for a one year period from date of sale.
One of the known issues with the S14 nonturbo exhaust is that if you use old stock hangers it causes a stress issue with the middle of the exhaust, where the resonator sits... the cracking is a byproduct of this. If you are using OE hangers I strongly recommend switching to new hangers or even Nismo hangers to solve this problem.
But like I said you can go back and exchange through the dealer you purchased from... and if you got it through a private sale or other shady means then you are SOL.

I got it thru a dealer. But the hassel of exchanging it is not worth my time at the moment. I wish the 60mm would not have been recommended to me over an 80mm at the time. The tip/can looks patheticly small but I was told that I would loose power with the 80mm. Now that this has been proven untrue I would rather move on to a different exhaust.

yea yea yea the whole backpresure myth bullsghit for KA with 2.4 l displacement makes me laugh. its the velocity that matters, the only donwside of 80mm on our cars would be NOISE> that is it.
