Hey guys, i have an appointment this afternoon to get the car aligned, the shop asked me to bring in some specs on exactly what I want them to do...

the car is 95% daily driver, but on the odd occasion will take it to an autocross course.

the car is a '91 SE fastback superhicas.

setup is AGX's all around with RS*R race springs.

i've noticed a little bit more of a drop then my eibach prokits, but not much, no more then .1-.2 of an inch.

to give you an idea of what I drive like on the streets, the fronts are set at 2 and the rears are at 6 on the struts and i love the feel of it, but would like a little bit more of a response when coming out of a drift..

now, I need to know what would be the best specs to allign the car to?

thanks in advance for any help!

chris

do you have camber plates?, adjustable t/c rods? adjustable RUCAs?

When I had my Espelir springs installed and took it to an alignment shop they gave me a printout of all the specs. Under the "specified range" column, it read like this:

Front Camber: -1.5 degrees to 0.0
Rear Camber: -1.6 degrees to -0.6
Front Caster: 6.0 degrees to 7.5
Front Toe: 0.01in to 0.06in
Rear Toe: 0.01in to 0.11in

It looks like that's the recommended setup for daily street driving. Just thought I would share it with you. Hopefully it'll help you out if it isn't too late.

well, if the springs/shocks are your only upgrades... they will probably just adjust your toe. youd need camber plates to adjust camber and adjustable tc rods for caster.

so unless they are going to drill holes into your control arms, theyll probably try to do it to OEM specs.

Just tell them this

for the front
negative 3° camber
negative .6 overall toe
positive 8° caster

for the rear
negative 1.5° camber
positive .3 overall toe

good luck and have fun
