carpet dye

i swapped out the brown interior for the black but i was unable to get the carpet. Looks kinda wierd with tan carpet and black/gray interior. has anyone ever used carpet dye before; is it hard to make it look good? how did it turn out? what did you use?

search for carpet, there are cheaper ways then using dye on your carpet... which is a bad idea IMO.

i dyed my carpet a few months back, but i went from grey to black... very pleased with the results. i will need to put another coat on it here soon because it is starting to fade around the pedals.. however, i am very happy with the results, pm me if you'd like to see before -> after results..

VHT dye from summit, its a spray and it worked great.. made my s13 carpet from grey to black.

i dont think i would go from any other color though, but grey to black is simple. very easy to use.

i never thought about a spray dye...i went to wallyworld today and they had RIT dye, a powder or liquid for fabrics. I was thinking something more along those lines. $110 for new carpet aint bad at all, but i just did the SR swap and the money could be put else where
