sorry i had to use all the JDM buzz-words, but there isnt another way to accurately describe them.

http://bings.ca/images/DSC00464.JPG

http://bings.ca/images/DSC00463.JPG

you can see my buddy flexing them.

they are VERY HIGH Quality fibreglass.

i have worked with and sold VIS / Grounddesigns before, you know all the nismo and veilside copy-cat crap. this stuff is a world apart.

yes they are copies, not the originals.

it cost me about $250 USD to get the originals to my door,

i am selling these for $160 USD SHIPPED anywhere in Canada or continental US.

there are only 2 more sets available, my buddies took the rest of them before hand so i could get a few made.

that is what they look like mounted, but that is not my car (i wish) mine are being painted as we speak.

i accept paypal

Your asking too much $

considering i am including the shipping costs and that i have already sold 3 sets, and that i myself could not find them for less than $200 + shipping i disagree.

but of course that doesnt mean i am necessarily right.

could you please link me to a competitive product at a competitive price?

150 shipped is my offer. do u have any sideskirts btw?

i have the OEM sideskirts on my coupe now, i am thinking of copying skirts but i dont thikn i could give you any better a deal than PDM racing has.

if i can get a hold of GP sports or type X skirts then it might be worth while.

there are a few pieces i have overseas that i am trying to get shipped over here that i would like to do as well.

nah, i cant remember the site but those things are hella cheap now.

besides, you want your bumper to be urethane, but fibreglass.

hey Bing I posted the copied version on Neo i also email those guy who made them and I havent recieved a reply yet..but the OEM Aero is pretty expensive..when people have it the price they ask is almost as much as getting the whole converison already..

that project is too involved for me at this point.

i'll be honest, i am only going to make things that i can use myself, and i dont plan on doing a silvia conversion, i'm pretty happy with the one-via look.

if i have really good luck with this stuff i will keep going.

there are a few things i have in mind for this summer, but i keep those secret until they are about to happen.

jhay, why not take a set of these valances then too?

if i can create a good relationship with the suppliers i am using i can keep going. if not, then i would just be that kid who had that stuff made for that money.

feed the process bro ... lol

You know Bing Im thinking about it..Ill let you know on Sons...but is that just direct bolt on to the car?

bing
07-13-2004, 09:04 PM
the fitment is 100% i tested them on my car already.

you will have to drill a small hole under the rear bumper for the third mounting hole, in the urethane. that isnt a problem. other than that u use the mudflap bolt holes

they will fit snuggly without any adhesive, but you can use tape or urethane sealant as well.

I might me interested as well if you have a set left? Are you also planning to make the side skirts later in time?

bing
07-29-2004, 10:56 AM
i am DYING to imports some genuine type X skirts because the copy cost would be 100% the same as the OEM skirts, so why do the OEM ones?

but i relaly dont see that happening before christmas at the earliest, i have friends in australia looking already, but they are in demend no matter where you go.

also, i cant afford to outbid people on the things and drop $700 on a pir of skirts.

but yes i hve some other stuff coming but it shall remain a partial secret.

bing
07-29-2004, 10:58 AM
yeah i do have a few sets of these left,

a few of my buddies have told me they want them, but i cant afford to pay to have these made and then wait 3 months for them to buy so pm me if you are serious about these.

i take paypl and ship with UPs only, with full tracking

what color do they come?

bing
09-13-2004, 07:21 PM
they arent painted, they come with a white gel coat as seen above.

you could prolly run them on your white coupe for a while, they would be only slightly ghetto, white is really easy to paint match anyways, especially when it is 10+ years old.

i ordered 4 sets today, one is gone, and another 2 are tentative. taking into account a 50% flake ratio, there should be 2 sets left when they arrive next week hopefully.

hey guys,

i should have 3 more of these next week but i think they might all be spoken for already.

if that turns out to be the case i will put another order through.

i did pickup one set the other day and i was impressed, after gettign some feedback from a few other guys that picked these up i wanted to make sure that this round was strictly prime and paint.

on the first round i was hearing that they still needed a quick sand and skim coat then prime.

the set i got yesterday to fill an order for a set UPS lost were really nice, although i did have to bug htem to do a little extra for me.

shipping is turning out to be a whore on these because the boxes that i have to get at the store leave alot of empty space that i still have to pay for.

if you guys dont mind, i would like to get $160 shipped from now on..

Do you have a set that is avalable to ship at once? If not, in the near future?

mad sentra
09-30-2004, 06:34 PM
how much lower are they from stock ones... i can barely tell a difference... anyone have a photo of them on a hatch?

bing
09-30-2004, 07:03 PM
they dont fit on a hatch actually.

i have tried to get a set for a hatch, but no luck thus far.

shipped out 2 sets of these ones today, i have one more set remaining.

these equally as low as OEM skirts, which really isnt that aggressive.

if you have something like GP or chargespeed skirts then these wont line up perfectly, though they will be lower than stock.

strange... i thought it was the same rear bumper... what lil i know... damn... my search continues then.......

So these will fit perfectly like OEM w/o any modification on coupes right?

Im very interested but dont want to waste money on something that doesnt have good fit and finish.

Thanks

That car from the gallery is so freaking Sexyyyy!! what color paint is that? everything is so damn clean!!!
agreed, definitely the nicest silvia ive EVER seen, blacktop, silvia front end, nice subtle aero styling, awesome interior assortment, sweet SSRs, and BIG PORSHCE brakes, howd he get his hands on those? And why porsche? they had to be custom brackets right?

bing
09-30-2004, 10:26 PM
they are identical to my OEM ABS plastic ones yes.

when i removed my mudlfaps and test fit the originals on they lined up to the bolt holes, but me not being a body-man i couldnt get them to line up the the body line, but i think it had to do with crud that was stuck to the car around where the bolt holes are.

the quality of the copy pieces is better than VIS kits, way more durable and better fitment. i remember the VIS stuff would crack when i tried to move it.

i have not had the opportunity to mess around with the nice JDM stuff like GP sports so i cant comment on that, i would imagine that these arent quite that good.

the facility that is doing this for me is actually pretty good.

originally i was getting them from the same place but through a third party. i managed to bypass this third party and went right ot the actual shop.

they specialize in mustang kits and stuff like that. they are relatively small, but he told me straight up that they did some pretty sick numbers as far as sales last year and continue to grow.

i can say that i would be happy to run these suckers on my car, however i have succomb to the JDM-tytness thing so i have to use the oe ones...lol

mind you, considering that i am including shipping here, the price is very close to half of what i paid for the originals.
