How do you guys wire your front speaker to aftermarket amp? Do you use stock or aftermarket harness. My concern is the stock harness is too small of gauge, probably 24 gauge. I really don't know to integrate aftermarket wire at the door loom without putting holes in the door grommet. Do you make new holes on the door? I don't want to risk water getting in the door or cabin.

:cool:Open hanger or some equal value metal wire, stick it threw the loom from inside out or vise versa, ziptie or tape aftermarket wire and pull threw gently and boom no cutting no drilling and best of all no headache!!:cool:

You can use the existing wires. If you still have the factory plugs, you can buy the nissan speaker adapters if you don't want to splice. If you are running a amp, there is a trick you can use. Basically you loop the speaker wires on the radio harness (connect the fronts to the rear). Then when you install your amp, you run separate speaker wires from the amp to the rear speakers, and then you connect factory rear speaker wires to the amp so that the front speakers get power since you looped the radio harness speaker wires.

If you want to run new wires through the door looms, you will need a coat hanger or something you can use to fish the new speaker wires through the loom. You can pop the loom ends off, and use electrical tape to attach the end of the speaker wire and fish it through to the inside of the car. When your done you can pop the end caps of the door loom back into place.
