Hello everyone!
I have a s14 that originally had a blown HG so i swapped in a "newer" ka24de.
It was auto so i decided to do the 5 speed swap since the engine was already out. I am having a few issues. First issue is with the auto ecu it will run but likes to stall if you dont keep it revved up a little. I jumped the top connector so it will start. the trans i got didnt have a neutral switch so thats not wired up either. I have a manual ecu that I have tried. It cranked up and ran fine. BUT I was not able to turn the engine off with the key. It kept running. I had to pull the ecu fuse.
any suggestions? I am going to mess with it some more tomorrow.
Also its a s13 ka engine that i swapped over the intake mani and dist over to it. Ive tried to search and search but have not seen much regarding the issues im having.
