Ok so I have this weird grinding noise when I press the accelerator. No noise when foot isn't on gas, in gear, coasting etc.
I have no idea what it could be, but tranny is shifting smooth, no excessive vibrations either. Seems to be coming from the front clip though. I don't think it could be driveline problems as I just recently got a new one piece alum from driveshaft shop. Nothing seems to be going wrong just a weird noise.

Currently running a sr20 fresh rebuild 10k miles and a new z33 tranny swap with about 2k ish miles

Safely put the rear on jack stands, run your test again. Safely!

Turbo bearing went out and blades are hitting the housing

That's what I was thinking, I have a small exhaust leak due to turbo elbow missing a bolt, I plan to go back and fix that, and seemed like it was coming from there. So you think turbo bearing, how hard of a fix is that. Never took a turbo apart

What turbo do you have? Maybe consider it's time for a upgrade..but if you really want it rebuilt I'd have a turbo specialist rebuild it.isnt there a forum sponsor in here that does that?

It's just a t28, I'll probably just buy a rebuilt one somewhere
