View Full Version : NC 1992 SR20 240sx Convertible FS/FT

I am looking to sell or trade my 92 240sx that has been converted to 5 speed and has a running SR20 swap.

The car was my daily, but since buying a new motorcycle that gets 120mpg, I only use it on rainy days, and have gotten bored of it as anything else, so I am hoping to sell or trade to get a more normal rainy day car and not look so ostentatious haha.

Info:
1992 convertible, rough body, mainly just two battered up rear quarter panels. No rust I have found, no chassis damage or other issues. Top is sub par but is water tight other than a few drops in those rare monsoon 5mph on the interstate kinds of rain. Interior is decent and complete sans rear seat upper portion, no mildewey smells or water damage.

Engine is a blacktop sr, all stock, unsure of mileage. Motor has never seen boost beyond the stock 7psi. Only aftermarket additions are a tubular manifold, blitz bov, and front mount intercooler. Engine has all new O2 sensor, TPS, and wiring specialties swap harness.

Car sits on new POWERTRIX coilovers (look them up, a really quality brand), with eBay rucas and SPL rear toe arms. Wheels are corvette ZR1 sawblades (17x9.5 fronts and 17x11 rears) with decent 255's in the rear and barely used 225's up front (all continental rubber).

Car is 5 lug swapped (ichiba front s14 rear I think), has an apexi n1 style dual exhaust, and a few other odds and ends. It needs an alignment, and brackets made for the rear windows to make them removable (car has coupe doors so the rear power windows recieved no power and had been removed by PO.) I can complete some bracketry prior to selling unless a buyer would rather fabricate their own instead.

(car is only pictured on throw-away front wheels as I didn't want to eat the perfectly good front tires on the vette wheels before getting an alignment.
Pictures of the car on all vette wheels can be provided if it really makes that much of a difference)

Asking 3800 and only want to deviate from that price if I start keeping parts to make up the difference. As for trades, I'm looking for mostly stock cars, prefer manual, and can add cash to a nicer car depending on the situation.

Bump. Not sure if I'm very off base with price or people just don't want 240's on this coast anymore.

Bumping one last time. Is 3800 really unfair or am I just on the wrong side of the country?
