Swift Springs for my BC BR Coilovers

Hey everyone, as the title states I'm wanting to upgrade to Swift spring on my BC type BR coilovers for my s13. The problem is I don't even know where to start. I've searched for spring size, but I can't even find that information. I'm also wanting to go with a slightly shorter spring as I'm already maxed out with all but the perch collar off and I'm not even close to tucking tire.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Contact any BC racing dealer and check with them, BC racing has that upgrade available and they might help you out more than random info from the internet.

You will need to disassemble a front and rear coilover to determine the specs of your current springs. Measure inner diameter and length of both front and rear. Then find the appropriate replacement on their website. As for shorter springs, I have no first hand experience, but I would assume if you want to go an inch lower, buy a spring that is an inch shorter.

As a general rule almost all coilover springs are a 2.5"ID spring. You absolutely don't have to disassemble your coilover, you most likely don't even need to jack the car up for the fronts. Just full lock & stick your arm in there. A simple ruler will let you measure height, if you have a micrometer that's more accurate. I'm assuming you've looked at your current springs & made sure there's no markings on it anywhere? A lot of coilover companies will either leave the markings or have a color code or something. The non direct attachment of your lower mount to wheel hub means that with a 1" shorter spring you're most likely going to drop closer to 1.25", not a direct 1". Hope that helps.

The marking on your springs should be a three number sequence.

The first number denotes the I.D

The second number is the length (Both I.D and length are in MM's)

The third number is the spring rate in KG/MM.
