Wanted to see about bigger brakes on a stock front hubs?
A little back story, Building a Datsun Roadster resto mod. I'm using 240 front hubs(easier to find parts). Making new upper/lower control arms for adding camber/caster plus running a coil over.

Wheels I have are 15x8 with 0 off set. Wondering what choices I have for calipers? Could I run a Brembo caliper off some other car? Is the 300tt caliper the best/easiest way?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Depending on the 15x8 wheel you choose, z brakes might not clear.

This

Q45 brakes may be a better option for you since they will clear most wheels. The q brakes have roughly the same surface area as the z brakes, they just don't look as cool.

As for brembo options, there are kits to adapt evo and sti brembo calipers to work with the 240 spindle but you will likely run into clearence issues with most 15" wheels.

Thanks a lot for the info. Yes Brembos would be great to see inside the wheel.

The 300tt calipers my be my best choice.

The wheels I will be running

Thanks again. I will post a few other questions about S14
