Above is the picture of stock audio wires on a '90 base hatch with no harness.

Where can I buy a female harness so that I can get a matching male to hook my head unit up to?

Which of the Red with Black stripe (12V Constant) do I use to go to the deck because there is two of them.

Also where can I buy a mounting kit to mount my Pioneer DEH-8400MP deck.

Thank you

there is nothing you can buy that will resolve that issue. your deck comes with the female harness that plugs into the unit, solder that to those wires. all you need to do is learn the function of each wire (power, speaker outs, antenna, etc).. its fairly straight forward.. just find out what they do and match it up.

goto a audio shop...If you dont have the Female with your HU. then you need to contact who you bought it from. This is stuff you can learn by going to a shop.

I'm strait with everything as far as the Pioneer goes, I just need a female harness with a matching male so I can hook it up. All I was asking about the Pioneer is how I can mount it being that I bought the car with nothing in the area where the head unit goes.

as i said. Goto an audio shop. They will have mounting kits specificly for your car. there usually around $30 or so. You could goto Best buy but there kits are universal for all makes like all Nissans and they fit like shit. Best bet is an Ausio shop. truyst me

Or you could go to a junk yard and get the mounting brackets off a stock S13 tape deck and they *should* skrew right into your new head unit.

as far as the wiring goes, there is a pdf somewhere on the net that will tell you about them

I am in the same situation as you are; the privies owner cut the radio wiring harness in the same spot. So today I went to a junk yard and got me the wiring harness that I needed. Then it was just a matter of matching the wires to connect them. Now it is time to look for a decent radio.
