Chattin on 240's is awesome, but I think we need a break even from that, so if you love a car, or want to comment on stuff like AWD, fwd, or anything else lets go nuts.

I can't believe I miss spelled must on the title, I'm such an idiot!

I'll start this off, I think the s4 is the sexiest little sedan I've seen in a while, 250hp awd, bi turbo, ooh baby.

Actually no,

If I could get any car, the Skyline GT-R R-34 v-spec is the one.

I would live in that thing.

Well incase anyone wondered why i don't mod my car to ####, it's because I been saving large amounts of money to buy my dream car, a nicely taken care of 90+ 300zx. Thats the car i want and the car i will get

Well if where talking in imaginary terms, I'll list my dream garage... (there would be cars added to this cause in my dream world i would have endless money)

1 1994 Nissan 300ZXTT Stage: as high as it go's
2 2000 Nissan Skyline GT-R Stage: too high to list!!!
3 1971 Datsun 240Z with RB26DETT engine.
4 1985 Nissan 300ZXT Stage:modded to ####
5 1991 Nissan 240SX with ca18det modded to 300 HP

Geez think I like Nissan? All would rotate as my daily driver's I would probably break out an exotic to, probably a ferrari.

as for dream cars, i'll take a conv. tommykaira zz.
not a big fan of sedans. i dont see the point. when i have kids, i'm not gonna race around, so i'll take a really luxurious car over a fast one. besides, at some point, my kids will be driving, and i wouldn't want them driving anything over 50hp

If I could afford a skyline, and it didn't come in red I would take her to the best paint shop in Canada and have the redest of the cherry reds painted on her.

Then I would go to motorex and have them make me a blackbird engine for her.

word up konkman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

the S4 rules,

i bought my 240 in march of this year, but i was set on a 1990 red eagle talon tsi, it was owned by my elementary school principle and while it did have 190k, the garage that was now selling it was putting a brand new turbo on and had just done the timing, the car also had a after market sunroof and a viper alarm.

i think that after a few years when i've done some tasteful mods to my 240 i will give it to my younger brother and either purchase a 1994 talon tsi ( before the model change, i like those better) or go a little further and purchase a 1997-2000 audi a4 1.8t quattro.

the tsi's have 195hp stock and all whell drive, i read up a little and they are supposedly one of the best used cars you can buy, and the timing is the only problem and since it is a belt it aint as expensive as the chain i just replaced on my 240......

Audi's rock, i have a large selection of information on the 1.8t, just to give you an idea off how good the engine is, it is in every VW and the A4, from the bug on up.

165hp stock in the A4 and a simple ecu upgrade can boost it up to 30hp alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nutty.

add to the AWD some suspension work and you dont need anything else and it is just plain sweet, 5-spd, leather, bose sound, all power, and they go forever.......................

sorry for the length but i agree we need to broaden the boundaries of chat here

not that i dont want a skyline but i would take a porsche 996 turbo, gt1, or any other turbo porsche, any ferrari, lotus,

M3, Z8, or any BMW slammed out over 400hp which is very possible i might add.

besides, when the skyline comes to north america every rich kid who slammed a civic, prelude, accord, or domestic pos is gonna want one because they will finally realize that Nissan is good, honda is for your mom. then the skyline will lose some appeal, i think its awesome partly because no one has one, if they were around all the time i wouldnt want one as bad

when i was in japan, the gt-r's were still pretty rare so i don't think i'd mind if they were in the states. i just hope that when the ppl that overlooked nissan's before c the skyline that they don't start wanting to buy 240's n other nissan's. i like having my own unique car.

1) 2001 Ferrari Maranello 550....those thigns are so dope. Black w/ Tan leather interior.
2) 1995 300 ZX TT
3) Skyline R-34 - GTR
4) 1969 Mustang GT 500...like off of Gone in 60 Sec...all I can say is...DAAAAAAMN!!
5) Last but not least, 1998 Supra TT...sorry it's a Supra, and Toyota is Nissan competition most of the time, but you can't tell me you wouldnt' take one!!!!

I got a pretty long list of dream cars...and guess what's on top
-BMW M3 (333hp, not 360hp) with a supercharger

-1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 454
-1969 Chevy Camaro SS/RS
-Nissan Skyline R-34 GT-R
-Porsche 911 GT3
-Lotus Elise 190
-Nissan Silvia S15
-C5 Corvette Z06
-Toyota Supra TT
-'93 Mazda RX-7 Turbo
-Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI
-Subaru WRX STi
-Mercedes CLK
-Datsun 240Z with blown 350 V8 transplant
-'00 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 (yeah, I know)

I guess that'll about wrap it up. There is a bit of a Chevy bias in there b/c those are the cars, especially the two muscle cars, that first got me hooked on cars in general. And the Tahoe...well, that's my trailor-queen hauler slash off-road excursioner.:)

My dream car for the past few years, since i was like 13 or 14 (I'm 17now) and hooked on speedvision, has been the BMW M3. I just love that car, the coupe not 4 door. Thats the car I always use in Sports Car GT (kinda an old game, from 99). I also like the supra, skyline, viper, and some others that are really nice but someday I WILL own an M3 coupe.

I'd love to have a totally moded late model supra. I love the look of those cars and the targa top would be great in the summer.
Any lamborgini or ferrari would be fine with me.
Buut, given the choice I'd take a lamborgini countach. (YEAH RIGHT !! That'll be the day, when someone gives me a choice of a ferrari or a lamborgini !)

Also on the list: Old 50's or 60's Ford Mustang (I don't care too much for fords, but I love the look of old mustangs - think Gone in 60 Seconds.)

2001 Silvia
2000 Skyline Gt-R V-Spec
1996 TT 300ZX
2001 BMW M5
1995 Eagle Talon TSI (for driving my trash cans to the curb and then back)
1990 Eagle Talon TSI (for a winter beater, slamming into snow banks at full boost, doin 360's in the middle of the road, then at the end of the last snowfall, or in feb, whicheverone comes first, leaving it in the middle of a main road for the plow to take car of )

eagle talons are a waste of time and money, 2 of my friends have them, one a 95, the other a 90, the 95 shit the tranny, and god knows what else, and the 90 leaks sooo much oil, the oil pan is constantly clean cause its all new oil... lol
and all the main seals are shot, which causes the black pools in front of my house, ohh yea the power steering leaks out all the fluid within 2 hours, from a full cylinder of fluid...
both of these cars have been owned by my friends for less than a year... a good used car huh..? hehe

ohh yea, and i want a 1996 Chevy Lumina Mini-Van, to mack all the girlies... haha

i used to check the archives at speedvision.com at my last job and i dont know if you guys heard but the dude who owns, VW, Audi, Bentley, seat, skoda, and about 12 other car companies in europe has some crazy plans

im sure you all have heard about the W12 engine which is 2 VR6 engines mated on a common crankcase, does 450hp+ easy and they also have a W18 which is either 3 VR6's or two mated 8 cylinders, i forget which, but any way the W12 car has a windshiled that starts where it normally does but doesnt stop at the roof, it goes all the way back for a crazy open air feel, no need for a sunroof, and 450hp and AWD, i believe it had lambo style doors as well,

LanceS13
10-18-2001, 07:39 PM
If it's a W18, it would have to be 3 6cyl. b/c 2 8cyl. would make a W16. But wouldn't a W18 be more appropriately called a VVV18? Or maybe a >V<18?
