FS: Altima Fans and Electric Thermostat Controller still in plastic, never installed. Good for SR20DET swaps for good cooling and to get rid of the clutter of the clutch fan.

Asking for $100 or $95 and a stock clutch fan shroud for S13 SR20DET.

Located in MD, although I work for DGTrials so Im up in NJ a lot. Would like for pickup or meet at Drift Out Wednesday, but maybe shipping if absolutely needed.

Thanx - Collin

they burn out...not really safe and reliable...not meant to be used in an "on all the time" application like many sr20 owners need to keep their stuff cool...

if used correctly, as in on only when the car is stopped or heating up, i guess they could work...

sorry to fuck with your sale...but i've had personal experience with Altima fans on my car..as have friends...

hmm, im gonna have to call poor setup here. With the temp controller my fans never even kick in till im setting still. Tthats what its there for. Ive never had any temperature problems with my setup, stanza fans (essentially the same) with a adjustable temp controller. And i believe u posted in a thread where u were the only one, so it again seems setup error or some other problem. No fans need to be on all the time. Air coming through the radiator cools a lot better then fans pullin it through.

Anyhow good luck with the sale, as stated mine have worked without a hiccup for 2 years of driving.

you're right..i do have a mental dissability...thanks for pointing it out...there are more tactful ways though of recognizing someone's mental handicap...:(

and that's very possible...some people just have no clue..

a million people huh?..wow..i didn't know altimas sold in those quantities..and then to factor in the number of wrecked or junked ones which have had their fans pulled to be used in an "aftermarket" application..wow...you know A LOT of people...

kudos man..u rock!..

umm..because i can...lol..

anyway, whatever...buyer beware...

call me a retard or a moron or whatever..makes no difference to me..

simply stating mine and other people's experiences for reference value...

and not ALL people know the proper way to use electric fans...many think because a clutch fan spins continuously so must an electric to achieve the same cooling effect..they don't understand the way they work...

my opinion is to influence people on the side of caution..

fuck off if you don't like it..i care not..

If you were really that concerned for a buyer you would post it somewhere relevant where some one who was doing their research to be a properly informed buyer could find it (like a tech section,) not someones for sale thread. Posting that here just looks like you're being a petty female...
