(redtop sr) Just in the last month my car has started shooting out black smoke and black liquid(possibly fuel). And it started running like shit. At stock timing or even 20+ it ran really boggy and stalled out everyonce in a while so i had to adjust the idle. It actually started running almost normal at 30+ advance(which is ungodly high, timing is making up for overload of fuel). For some reason its running really rich and sounds like it could be detonating or it could be timing chain. I have a new o2 sensor on its way so im hoping it will fix the richness problem but just tonight it started shooting blue smoke (maybe white) and its still blowing out black fluid that shoots at least 5 feet because i soaked my other 240 thats sitting 5 feet behind it. Just earlier today it would only shoot out smoke at wot but now it does it at idle. Anyone have any clues? From what ive read it could be the headgasket,o2, maf, or the turbo(not exactly sure if its fuel or oil).

Check the fuel rail and injectors for leaks. Also check the plugs/wires/coil packs etc for running on 4 cylinders. Mine was doing that when it only ran on 3 cylinders. A leaky injector was the cause.

seems like you nailed it. the most usual problem is the o2 sensor. do you have a cat converter, if you do and its doing that than that is fouled up as well. what MAFS are you using? the KA on the SR motor will make it run rich. these are some of the places to start looking for answers

A bad o2 will not cause that kinda problem i dont even have one connected on my SR and it dynoed 233 hp at the wheels with the t25 runs perfect and gets 19 MPG, i know it could be better with the o2 but ive been lazy

agreed... bad o2 sensor = bad mileage... not billows of of black smoke out your tailpipe. check injectors like allgator said...
