I had recently came across this web site, www.importtrenz.com. I originally was looking at the cheap trd 2000gt kit for mr2. But a sentence caught my attention. They are the originators for the civic to silvia convertions!!!!! They are now trying to fit the s15 front end on a [email protected]#*king civic!!! This is quite disturbing to me because I always wanted to buy a 95 240 and convert it to a s15 front end and back end or r33 front and back end. now I may scratch that idea and just get a older 240 or a sentra se-r. peace out, I'm gonna write some hate mails now.

I really don't see a difference in civics having silvia conversions and a 240 having a r33 conversion. They are both trying to be what they are not. The same goes for S15 conversions... It may be more mild than a 240 trying to become a skyline, but it's the same concept.

I'd say if it looks good, then it looks good. I would have to see those conversion kits in person to see if it looks good though...

You can't get S15's in the states, so maybe a civic with a conversion is the next best thing.:)

why the #### does honda have to be bitin' on nissan's style? you don't see any 240's running around w/ civic front ends or anything now do ya? nissan at least stays w/ in nissan when it comes to conversions. i can understand some one trying to make a 240 look like a skyline cause skylines aren't exactly the easiest type of car to aquire in the US and on top of that there is a HUGE price difference. If you're gonna make a civic look like a nissan they might as well by a #### nissan.

all it is is nissan w/ nissan. plus the skylines and 240's resemble each other, the coupe's nehow. honda's should stay w/ honda conversions n not degrade our car. i know i wouldn't want nebody saying that my 240 is just like that honda civic w/ the front end conversion.
