Hey there.
I live near the Orange show events center and speedway in San Bernardino, CA.
They have a few race events there, I'm just not sure if they have drift events or shows there.
Any one know about this?
Was getting the idea of having drift days there, if it's possible.

Yes, I remember hearing the cars on drift days back in the day.
I wonder why they stopped doing them?
What I have heard is that it was pretty organized kinda like Adams in Riverside.
Maybe the owner and the host of drift days had an argument of some sort, or deal went sour... Any ways I wonder what happened!?
I know they justo have them on Sundays.
Wish we could bring them back!

If anyone is interested in drift events at this location, let me know. I've been trying to gauge interest in drift events for this location.

I will be trying to get a hold of the owner/manager of the speedway some time late this week, or early next week.
I am interested in getting drift events here once a month, or maybe twice a month.
We will see what we can work out.

That place is cool, like a smaller version of Irwindale speedway. The walls would be scary. But Adams is getting played out and small... Someone should hit up the The Great Park in Irvine for an event. I always see autoX happening. Big enough for highspeed drifting with no walls.
In all honesty, if there's a track closer to San Diego, I am sure you will have a successful event. It sucks for us to drive 2-hours+ to attend an event, so it would be ideal if there was a closer event.
I also heard there was another event in the past called Inland Drift (Correct me if I am wrong)

I got a hold of his secretary today.
She gave me some info and pricing, there are a couple openings in October, and November.
We can rent the track for half the day, or the whole day.
The only thing is that it's really expensive...
We would need about 30 drivers for half day rent, that leads us to roughly $125.00 to drive in event.
Not to mention the medical team... Lol

For a full day they are asking for a lot more than that. I don't remember how much exactly she quoted me but it was more than 3k for full day.
I would still like to get some events going on this location, as of now I'm not sure how it's going to be possible for what they are asking for.
I live down the street from here, and I noticed that they have an average of two race events a week. Usually at evening/night.
I'll text you Asap
